When Kate Nic Chonaonaigh, an actress from Galway who played the role of Man in An Cailin Ciuin got in touch with Designer Room initially for the BATFAs and rented a navy asymmetric Nicole Bakti dress decided to rent from us again for the OSCARs it was a dream come true – never did I realise when I set up this business would I have a dress from my collection showcased on the Champagne carpet at the Oscars, such a global stage, what could top this! Kate was such a lady, the most beautiful person to work with and she absolutely looked stunning in our MacDuggal gold gown rental dress. Blaithin Ennis, an Irish jewellery designer matched some of her exquisite pieces for Kate to wear with the dress. It was perfect match.
